Hello to all from up here, that is upstairs!! We are Jr. High and roaring for God!! We started to meet in September, every Sunday night at 6pm. We are a great group of kids, meeting and talking about God, learning and growing in our Lord Jesus Christ!! We do have some exciting news to share with you and want to personally invite you to visit us any Sunday!! Our doors are always open.

We meet every SUnday might digging our noses in the Bible, fellowshipping and having lots of laughs along the way. We do have dedicated movie nights which require us to wear our P.J.'s and eat popcorn. I know it sounds tough, but we are pulling through.

We have new Bibles that we are getting to know. Also, we have a question can that anyone can slip in an anonymous question (Richard and a few other elders in the church have been helping answer some of these tough questions.) We do have many questions that continue to pop up, so we ask that you keep us in your prayers.

We are starting to make plans for summer 2010. Our plans include beach days, visiting Artesia Home for the Aged and some of our shut-ins, Griffith Observatory day, Summer Olympics in the Park, and Raging Waters park, just to name a few that cmae up during our planning time...

We also have some fun fundraising dates coming up. In March we will have a bake sale (baking at church on Saturday, March 20). We plan on selling these goodies after the 8:30 and 10 am service on March 21. We are looking for volunteers to help the children bake on the morning of March 20; we have a few volunteers already: Linda Shiffer and Jo Britton!! Kudos to our volunteers!! So, if you would like to help in the kitchen on Saturday morning or help in the fellowship hall in the afternoon on the 20th (cutting and wrapping the goodies), we would love to have you !!
