Programs
The Chancel Choir, with organ or piano accompaniment is an important part of the Sunday worship. The choir and a soloist sing at Sunday services from September to June. A quartet and a soloist, sing for worship during the Summer. The handbell choir brings delightful music on special occasions. The Praise Band accompanies the Steeple Singers youth choir and sings their own songs on the first Sunday of the month and other occasions. Every worship experience enjoys wonderfully high quality and inspiring music.
Get your gospel on! Sunday, October 16th (at both the 8:30 and 10:00 A.M. services) the Voices of Praise LVCC Worship Choir will join the Chancel Choir and Steeple Singers to celebrate the joy of Gospel music as a powerful way to worship the glory of God. Then, at 4:00 P.M. LVCC will host the Music Festival of the Southern California Conference of Community Churches in our very own sanctuary. This will be a great opportunity to join a diverse group of Christian musicians in praise.
Sunday School Singers
The Sunday School Children will sing in the Sancutary during the second service on June 12th.
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir's last day in the sanctuary is June 5th. Until September, music will be provided by Cathi, Jared, Glenn, and Susan. Mark and Big Al will be there too.
Praise Band
The Praise Band Summerfest will be held on June 26th. Great Music, good food, and fun for everyone will be availiable. The concert features songs from several eras as requested by LVCC church members: such as Gary James, Gaylynne Meek, Richard Irving and more. It's a block party, complete with a bounce house, Watermelon eating contest, and much more! Bring everyone you know, they're all invited.
